[04] Party & Event Rental Website
Guam Cherry Rentals
A party and event rental site for a Malesso’ crew, built around a mobile-first catalogue and a WhatsApp handoff rather than a checkout the business would have to honour.

[02] Problem
Making rentals easier to browse and book.
Guam Cherry Rentals needed a clearer online presence: somewhere customers could understand the rental options, see real products and pricing, and browse comfortably on a phone without relying entirely on social media messages. The site needed to start the booking conversation, with availability still confirmed by the crew.
[03] Solution
A clearer path from browsing to inquiry.
- Browse
- Choose
- Enter details
- Send inquiry
Mobile-first browsing with clear rental categories, real equipment photography, and visible prices and details.
Direct calls to action lead to a short inquiry form. Customer details become a ready-to-send WhatsApp message; the crew confirms availability personally.
[04] What I built
From catalog to conversation.
- Rental catalog
- Clear browsing across inflatables, canopies, tables and chairs, with published rental periods and pricing.
- Product pages
- Dedicated rental and equipment pages with real photos, product details and pricing.
- WhatsApp inquiry
- Required customer and event details are validated and composed into a structured WhatsApp message.
- Responsive UI
- Mobile-first layouts, readable product details and a fixed WhatsApp and Call bar on phones.
- Real media
- Client setup photography, product images and promotional reels integrated throughout the site.
- SEO foundation
- Product-specific titles and canonical URLs, crawlable detail pages, a sitemap and robots configuration.
- Production deployment
- A live Vercel deployment on the client’s custom domain.
[05] Engineering decisions
Built around the way the crew works.
01 / WhatsApp over complex booking software
The form collects the information the crew needs, then opens a pre-filled WhatsApp inquiry. Customers still press Send, and the business confirms availability and delivery details personally. This keeps the workflow familiar without implying an automatic reservation.
02 / Mobile first
Responsive catalog layouts keep imagery, pricing and inquiry actions readable on a phone. A fixed WhatsApp and Call bar keeps contact within reach, while the request form asks for the essentials: name, phone, date, village and rental.
03 / Real media over stock assets
Product pages pair photographs of actual rental equipment with dimensions, features and published prices. Setup photography and client reels show customers what the crew can bring to their event.
04 / Indexable product routes
Rentals and equipment have their own statically generated routes, page titles and canonical URLs. The sitemap includes those detail pages, supporting direct links, search discovery and clearer navigation.
05 / Media sized for the page
Next.js images declare responsive sizes, with AVIF and WebP formats configured. Hero images receive priority; local video reels use posters and preload metadata, letting visitors choose when to play the footage.
